Center of Emphasis Health Sciences

The Center of Emphasis Health Sciences (COE) provides quality continuing education programs for health-related disciplines.

In health care, we offer Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and Phlebotomy Technician courses. The CCMA Certification Program is a ten-month program that prepares students for employment in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, as well as physician practices/offices. The phlebotomy course is a combination of online learning, practical labs, and a rotation in a clinical setting. This course is designed to prepare students for the NHA (National Healthcareer Association) Phlebotomy Technician certification exam.

We offer EMT/Paramedic refresher courses periodically.
