    This PARAMEDIC Refresher Course is tailored to meet the needs of experienced Paramedics, providing a comprehensive update on the latest advancements in emergency medical care.  Participants will leave with renewed confidence, ready to respond to a wide array of medical emergencies with competence and precision.  This course is 32 hours long.

    This course is an approved 20 hour DOT National Standard EMT-Basic Refresher, which covers both Mandatory and Flexible Core Content. Topics include: Airway and Breathing, Cardiology, Medical Emergencies, Trauma, and Obstetrics with Pediatrics. This course is designed for the EMT Basic completing the 20 hour refresher requirement, EMT Basic's completing CEU's, EMT Basic candidates in  need of assistance in successfully completing the NREMT-B exam, and "Re-entry" students or EMT's who have allowed their National Registry Certification to lapse within a two year period. Classroom discussion, skills practice, and group activities will be conducted during this 20 hour course.

    A Community Paramedic (CP) is an experienced EMS provider who works in non-emergency, in-home settings to provide preventative, primary, and post-hospital care. They work under physician supervision to manage chronic conditions, reduce hospital readmissions, and connect underserved patients with social services.
