KEY (Keep Educating Yourself) Lectures   

The KEY Lecture Series offers a wide range of topics for lifelong learners. Lectures are held on the Vol State campus at 1480 Nashville Pike in Gallatin and are scheduled on Friday mornings. The fee to enroll in one or all of the lectures in a series is $59. Everyone is welcome to register and attend.

    Topics for Fall 2025 series are:

    September 26th      Situational Awareness with Jenyfer Lindahl

    October 3rd             Local Ghost Stories with Jerry Lumpkins and Friends

    October 10th           The Life of Hummingbirds with Cindy Routledge

    October 17th           History of Ukraine, Part 2  with Zackary McCullough (19th century to 21st century) Part Two will focus on more recent history of the last century.

    October 24th           A lesson in Geology with Jim Cunliffe -  to discuss three aspects of the geological endeavor: plate tectonics, mass extinctions, and local geology.

    October 31st           Tennessee's Earliest Residents - the history of Native Americans before and during the early days of Tennessee with Dr. Joe Douglas
